Death & Dying
Being confronted with an approaching end – whether through one’s own incurable illness or the knowledge that someone we love will soon die – brings us to some of the most vulnerable limits of human existence. Knowing that our remaining time together is inevitably running out can trigger a turmoil of intense fear, deep grief, helplessness and sometimes profound inner loneliness.
When facing one’s own death, existential questions emerge: What will remain of me? How do I cope with losing control? How do I say goodbye to my life and the people I love? At the same time, relatives and loved ones face the emotional strain of preparing for the painful farewell in everyday life and supporting the dying person as well as they can, while often having to hold back their own fears.
During this intense phase of life, my practice offers you and your loved ones an entirely protected space. Unspoken fears, taboo topics and very practical concerns can be voiced here without judgement. Together, we bring some order to the emotional turmoil, look for sources of comfort and inner peace, and shape this path of farewell in a way that is carried by dignity, love and mutual support – for a dignified letting go and for those who remain to feel held and comforted.
