Stress & Overwhelm
When demands at work, in the family or in everyday life become too much, we often enter a state of constant high tension. What begins as a temporary stressful period can gradually turn into chronic overwhelm, where even periods of rest no longer bring genuine recovery. You simply keep functioning, while feeling driven from within and at the same time deeply exhausted. The difficult part is that stress does not only happen in the mind. Our bodies absorb this pressure too, in the form of constant muscle tension, shallow breathing, a racing heart or sleep problems. The nervous system remains in a permanent state of alarm.
In my practice, I therefore combine traditional talking therapy with body-oriented approaches (Somatic Practice). Together, we explore where stress has become lodged in your body and use mindful body awareness to learn how to actively regulate an overstimulated nervous system. In this way, we create a safe space in which you can not only gain mental clarity, but also breathe deeply again on a physical level, noticeably release pressure and reconnect with renewed, genuine strength.
