Loss, Grief & Farewell

Some losses pull the ground out from under our feet from one moment to the next. Grief does not only overwhelm us when someone we love dies. It can affect us just as painfully when a relationship falls apart, when a shared way of life ends after a divorce, or when a deeply hoped-for life plan has to be abandoned for good. Each of these farewells leaves an immense emptiness and forces us to reorganise the life we knew. Grief follows no fixed timetable – it may appear as paralysing numbness, deep sadness, intense anger, sheer despair or overwhelming exhaustion.

During this difficult time of transition, you do not have to hide your feelings or carry them entirely on your own. In my practice, I offer you a protected, non-judgemental space where every tear, every question and also every feeling of anger is allowed to be exactly as it comes. We do not try to make the pain disappear quickly; instead, we take the time to make it more bearable, so that you can gently integrate the loss into your life story and gradually feel solid ground beneath your feet again.
